Molecular Libraries Initiative, National Cancer Institute Diversity Set.
The NCI Diversity set is a collection of 2,000 Synthetic small molecules selected from the full NCI screening collection to allow users to being there cancer screening efforts on a small scale.
Once users have validated there assay using a small collection like the Diversity set, or the
Known Bio-actives They May being screeing efforts on the larger collections available at the CGSC, or through Moleculare Libraries/NCI.
The CGSC currentaly has copy 1400 of the Diversity Set in both 96 and
384 well format, Our stock is at 100µm
concentration, which will typicaly give 1µm assay concentration.
Information on the compounds included in the set and the plate format can be retrived from the NIH at http://dtp.nci.nih.gov/dtpstandard/ChemData/index.jsp Searching on Plate Numbers from 1400-1424 will show the compounds in our current set.
